The Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company is performing its popular Goldilocks and the three bears during the school holidays.

This children’s classic follows the adventure of Goldilocks in the forest before her birthday. Her grandfather is organising a birthday party for Goldilocks, but she gets lost in the woods and stumbles across a house belonging to the three bears. With no-one home, Goldilocks goes inside and makes herself at home. The three bears come home to find their visitor contentedly asleep – with hilarious consequences.

This enchanting fairytale is full of laughter and audience participation. It promises great fun for the whole family.

Goldilocks and the three bears is adapted and directed by Elton John Duffy, who has been producing children’s theatre for the past 22 years.

The show stars Desle McConney (from Athlone) as Baby Bear, Monique Rockman (Goodwood) as Mama Bear, Shaun Klaasen (Rondebosch) as Papa Bear, Elton John Duffy (Edgemead) as Grandpa and Liande Valentyn (Plumstead) as Goldilocks.

Goldilocks and the three bears is on daily at 10:00 until Saturday at the Nassau Theatre at Groote Schuur High School, in Palmyra Road, Newlands.V

Tickets cost R60 and are available from Computicket. Call Elton on 083 364 8284 or 021 558 2650 for more about school or block bookings or visit www.lilliputplayers.co.za for more about the show.
