Kenwyn’s martial students win gold

Kenwyn Martial Arts Centre won five gold medals and three silver medals at the Ashihara Karate Championships held on Saturday 18 April at the Sid G Rule Primary School in Grassy Park.

Chantel de Beer won gold for kata and kumite, Jordan Johnson won gold for kata, Sean Bailey won silver for kata, Sameer van de Meulen won gold for kata, Taahirah Sait won gold for kata and silver for kumite and Tashreeq van de Meulen won silver for kumite.
