Kurt Cobain on screen at Labia this weekend

The sixth annual Sound on Screen music film festival will be on screen at the Labia Theatre from Friday to Sunday.

This year’s festival includes an investigative documentary into the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, a look at the rise of gypsy punks Gogol Bordello, Twisted Sister’s tough rise to stardom, the 65-year career of Randamp;B pioneer Vann “Piano Man” Walls and a home-grown music comedy.

The audience can also expect giveaways like concert tickets, DVDs and CDs. V
