Eleven local comedians will be coming to­gether to help raise funds for the My Child has Cancer Trust on Thursday 30 April.

The comedy show, presented by Punch­lines Comedy, takes place at the Slug and Lettuce at The River Club in Observatory and will see Carl Weber, Ambrose Uren, Calvin Benson, Stuart Cairns, Lungelo Ndlovu, ­Irshaad Mohamed, Yaaseen Barnes, Phil de Lange, Lee-Ann Davis, Eugene Mathews and Westley Cockrell on stage.

Punchlines Comedy, the brain child of Eugene Mathews, is a mobile stand-up comedy show that serves as a showcase for Cape Town’s most promising stand-up comedians by raising funds for various initiatives in need of financial assistance as well as a shot of ­exposure. V
