The Mitchell’s Plain police station will fill 23 vacancies for new police officers.

Applications for the police development learning programme from young, energetic, intelligent, physically and mentally fit individuals, of all races and genders, are welcome.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years and have matric. Preference will be given to applicants who are in possession of at least a light vehicle driver’s licence. Other requirements are also implemented.

The police station will host a recruitment drive for new recruits to these entry-level posts as police members at Liberty Promenade on Thursday between 10:00 and 14:00, as well as next week Monday and Friday at the same times
