Stolen goods of R40 000 recovered

During a police raid in Diep River a wanted suspect was arrested and stolen goods worth R40 000 recovered.

A joint operation between the Diep River police, a neighbourhood watch and two security companies took place on Friday 10 July at 20:30. Warrant Officer Keith Chandler, spokesperson of the Diep River police, says the operation occurred at a well-known house in Diep­ River.

“During the operation the police’s airwing provided air support and lighting and the raid continued without incident, resulting in a wanted person being arrested,” he says.

Chandler says the stolen items have been identified by the complainant
