The mad cap characters of the Let’s mix it comedy sketches, plus a few more, will be on stage at the Artscape Arena in November in Let’s mix it: The best of andamp; more.

The show, produced by Ganarama Productions, features duo Gary Naidoo and Liandé Valentyn, with Valentyn playing the role of Hadji Fatgiyah Bardien, the chatty talk show hostess who broadcasts her talk show from the lounge of her Walmer Estate home.

Throw in funnyman Wayne Mckay and the stage is set for another laugh-a-minute romp.

This time Hadji Fatgiyah has four “interviewees” (all played by Naidoo) who are literally a mixed bag – from local ex-Miss Gay South Africa and researcher on Hadji’s show Felicity Mybergh (real name Faizel Mybergh), who has delusions of hosting her own talk show one day, to larger-than-life former Zumo wrestler (the female version of Sumo wrestling), Sisanda Gugushe, who is always willing to share her weight loss tips with audiences, even though she weighs in at 124kg.

The show includes some of the best moments of past shows as well as brand new material, like on-screen home-brewed adverts and a new character or two that Hadji Fatgiyah will be hosting in her hilarious comedy of errors.

It is written by Rafiek Mammon and Gary, and is directed by Rafiek.

The show runs from Monday 2 to Saturday 7 November. Tickets costs R90 and are available at Computicket. Visit www.ganaramaproductions.com for more information.
