‘Wild’ gunfire injures three in Manenberg

2015-07-07 06:00

An unknown assailant is being sought after shooting three people in Manenberg on Wednesday last week.

The man shot three people, aged 28, 47 and 54 years, at about 23:30.

The three victims were sitting in the lounge area of a house when the shooter pushed the front door open and fired several shots at them without any warning.

The Manenberg police say that the suspect fled the scene after the sound of gunfire had died.

The victims were then taken to hospital for emergency medical treatment and while no arrests have been made, a case of attempted murder has been opened for investigation.
