Winners Church in Thornton will host eminent evangelist, Wessel du Bruyn, from Sunday 11 to Sunday 18 November.

The sought-after conference speaker will attend a “healings and miracles crusade” at the church.

According to a statement from the church, Du Bruyn operates in miraculous gifts of healing for the sick. His TV show The Miraculous, which is aired every Saturday morning at 10:00 on Faith Family of Networks, follows Du Bruyn and his team all over the world as they minister to people from all walks of life.

They have ministered in over 40 countries with healing and miracles confirmed by thousands of people to date.

Day one of the week-long crusade will open with internationally acclaimed, award-winning music artist, Shaun P, says the statement from the church.

A non-profit organisation, Winners Church is committed to uplifting the community through the Good News Message of Jesus Christ and a practical demonstration of His love, the statement explains.

One of its numerous outreach programmes has been the distribution of water to Thornton Primary School as well as Nazareth House in Vredekloof, during the time of water restrictions, while also impacting the City of Cape Town through its donations and contributions.

To this end, on Saturday 24 November, the church will be reaching out to the communities of Thornton, Athlone, Goodwood and surrounds once again by having a Kingdom Commonwealth Day. The people of Winners Church have pooled together good-condition household appliances, clothing and toys to donate to the needy within the local community. This event will enable the community to acquire goods they may need in their homes without cost.V Winners Church is situated on the corner of Odin Drive and Viking Way, Thornton.
