In celebration of Arbour Week, commemorated annually in the first week of September, ward 78 councillor Eddie Andrews joined the Decision Affects Destinies (Dad) ambassadors to plant a tree at the 1st Pack Westridge Scouts venue in Westridge.

The Scouts, coordinated by Irma Cotton, will soon be launched and will house the Westridge 1st Pack.

The Dad ambassadors assisted Andrews in cleaning the area and then planted a tree.

Cotton will look after the tree using an alternative water source for watering purposes.
