Armed robbers threaten family in Eastridge

Two suspected robbers have been arrested in connection with a house robbery in ­­­­E­ast­ridge.

Thorough investigation by Mitchell’s Plain police led to the arrest of the two, aged 27 and 28, after a house robbery in Rigoletto Street on Monday 20 March at 01:15.

It is alleged that the family were asleep when three men forced their way into the home by breaking the front window.

The robbers threatened the family with firearms. They demanded valuables and searched the house, making off with three cellphones and cash. No shots were fired and no-one was injured during the robbery.
