Glenthorn A’s cemented their position at the top of the Cape Town Softball Association’s super league with an easy 10-3 win over closest rival Falcons. The A’s took 10 hits off Falcons pitcher Nicky Jones.

Jean Bell (2-3), Alex Fortune (2-4) and Deidré Sassman (2-4) led the offensive display for A’s, who appear to be cruising to their sixth consecutive super league title. Falcons could only muster five scattered hits off Lisa Erasmus with Kelly Julie leading from the front, batting 2-3.
