Be transported to the ‘Roaring Twenties’

2016-05-31 06:00

The Masque Theatre is inviting patrons to dress up in pearls and lace and dust off their fedoras for The Roaring Twenties – an evening of dinner decadence.

The dinner party on Saturday 4 June from 19:00 is a fundraiser for the community theatre and promises a sensational culinary experience thanks to resident chef Ingrid Diener. Guests will be able to choose from two menus. The Prohibition menu at R150 includes bruschetta and dips as a starter, the choice of chicken or tofu à la king on a bed of rice for mains, and apple crumble and cream for dessert.

The All That Jazz menu at R250 includes caprese tart with a sweet balsamic drizzle, a red wine infused lamb shank, or a baked mushroom loaf and cream on a sweet potato mash with seasonal veg with coffee cheesecake doused in a chocolate ganache.

Kosher food can be arranged.V Call 021 788 1898 or email for more information.
