Become a police reservist

The police are looking for residents interested in joining their reservists corps.

Interested people who fit the criteria are urged to apply at their nearest recruitment office or police station.

The police are looking for energetic, intelligent and physically and mentally fit people who are dedicated with a desire to serve their country on a voluntary basis as reservists to help the police fight crime.

Reservists do not receive any compensation and perform duties to strengthen and support the police. They perform a minimum of 16 hours of duty per month.

Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate or completed a Saqa-accredited NQF level 4 qualification along with some other criteria.V For more information on becoming a police reservist visit your nearest police station.
