Board members sought

The Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse, situated in Beacon Valley, is currently looking for potential board members.

Those who are interested in becoming board members are required to possess the following skills:

. Proposal writing,

. Fundraising strategies,

. Event planning,

. Administrative skills,

. Marketing,

. Communication, and

. Above all, must have time to attend meetings.

The network has been working in the community for close to 20 years.

The network runs several programmes, including a support group for those affected by abuse and counselling at court for those dealing with protection orders and anger management and bullying workshops at schools.

V If you possess any of the skills and are interested in becoming a board member, you may forward a copy of your CV to admin@mpnetwork.org.za or drop off a copy at their offices , based at the Beaconvale Frailcare Centre. Submissions to be made on or before Friday 22 February.
