Bring a toy for charity

2018-12-11 06:02

Que Pasa Dance Studio is hosting its 11th annual Christmas charity “Toys for Tots” dance event on Friday 14 December.

Patrons attending the salsa party must bring a toy along in exchange for paying a cover charge. The Que Pasa team will then hand deliver all the toys to their charity, the Emasithandane Children’s Home in Nyanga, which houses over 30 kids living with TB and HIV/Aids.

John Morrison and dance partner Liza Rossi say their hearts are entrenched in the community.

“Que Pasa aims to provide the best dance tuition in Cape Town at the most reasonable price, giving everyone access to learn and have fun doing it. We bring people together from all walks of life and create a family vibe to nurture the love for Afro-Latin music and dance,” says Morrison.

“Our vision is to build a strong community of quality qualified dance teachers, DJs and performers, and to create sustainability and job opportunities in this sector, by providing teacher training programmes and performance courses, and developing DJs who are passionate about their craft.”V For more information, visit www.quepasa.co.za.
