Call to join Rondebosch CPF

2017-03-07 06:00

The Rondebosch Community Policing Forum (CPF) is recruiting representatives of community organisations to be part of maintaining safety in the area.

The CPF’s general election meeting to fill vacant positions will be held in the St Paul’s Church hall in Church Street on Tuesday 14 March at 18:00.

The available positions are chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary and treasurer.

Rondebosch police spokesperson Warrant Officer Lyndon Sisam says the CPF is a partnership between the community and the police. “A CPF also aims at ensuring police accountability, transparency and effectiveness in the community. We encourage representatives from schools, youth groups, body corporates, residents’ associations, improvement districts, religious groups and sports clubs to join.”
