Are you a cat lover or do you just want to ease your curiosity as to what cats do when they are having their own show?

A showstopper cat show is coming to Wynberg and entries are open for those that think they have the best, unique and most adorable cats.

The cat show will take place on Saturday 6 July at Wynberg Girls’ High School.

The cats taking part in the show will be competing for international titles.

The cat show is hosted by Chats du Cap, a non profit independent cat club.

The cat club was founded by Alida Delport.

The idea of the cat show is to showcase a lot of breed and other unique cats.

On show will be Persians, Chinchillas, Bengals, Main Coons, Abysinians, Sphynx, Burmese, Devon Rex and many more including domestic cats.

Tears Animal Rescue, a non profit organisation, pro-quality life organisation whose core aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats, will also be at the show with some of their cats that are up for adoption.

Judged by eight qualified cat judges, cats will be judged according to the different breed standards and competing for titles.

The show will start from 09:00 until 15:00.
