Challenge Ou Kaapse stop

2018-04-24 06:00

I am seeking anyone who has received a fine for the confusing stop sign placed in the left hand lane at the bottom of Ou Kaapse Weg, situated at the Westlake junction. The sign was placed there for trucks to stop, but the City of Cape Town is now fining motorists for entering the left hand lane and not stopping.

This is also the lane used for anyone turning left at this junction and is therefore confusing. Innocent motorists are being targeted once again and having to pay large fines.

If anyone has been successful in having their fine dropped would you please get in contact with me as I would like to have this situation addressed and changed so innocent motorists are not targeted again.

You can contact me on 074 178 3803

or sarbachan@gmail.com.
