It is situated at 225 Imam Haron Road

The edu-centre opened its doors in September this year. It currently has 40 adult students and is hoping to expand next year to be able to accommodate a larger number.

Pastor Heather Botha, one of the founders, says this is the outcome of their charity shop that was started in April this year with the aim of raising funds to support the programmes and assist with providing resources to the youth and adults of the community to strengthen their academic abilities, as an outreach project to the community.

“The charity shop’s aim is to financially support the programmes of the Bethany Educentre. The Bethany EduCentre is aimed at empowering the youth and adults of the community. The shop welcomes donations of pre-loved clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, books, toys, household goods or any other items of value.”
