During the school holiday week from Monday 1 to Friday 5 October, the Portlands Subforum held a holiday programme for the area’s children at the Wolfgat Nature Reserve’s multipurpose centre. There were daily activities for the group of children aged seven to 15 years.

Around 40 children from the Tafelsig and Portlands areas attended the programme­.

The sector commander, Captain Ivan du Toit, and Warrant Officer Rajap Buggs were also part of the organising committee.
