We are currently trying to get ‘toy lovers club’ involved as other car crews disappointed us. We don’t have any sponsors only donors from the Tafelsig community, a rehabilitated drug addict, Tony’s barber shop Town Center and money out of our own pockets, the show is for the kids but we want community members involved too,” says Mackriel. All shows will start at 16:00 till late. They are currently looking for entertainers for these events, donations of party packets, clothing, any food items or old toys. There will be a jumping castle, face painting a santa clause and elfs and a Christmas play.Local safety volunteers have also partnered with the initative.“We are hoping that people can assist us in any way to uplift our community, we are trying to make it a games day, however, it’s difficult because we working out of our own pockets, we don’t want money,” he says.
