City ‘ignores’

2017-09-26 06:00

I refer to the article relating to the desalination plant.

It seems we have lost the plot and our humanity too or is it that the rich’s objections account for more.

I find it unreasonable for the residents to object to where the desalination plant should be placed.

More importantly, a foreign entity were and are prepared to provide a R3bn free desalination plant on B.O.T basis with the asset belonging to the City of Cape Town.

The bureaucracy at City is insane and try getting a meeting with the powers that be that can take decisions is an effort in vain.

An offer to build 10 000 to 20 000 using alternative building methods and providing financing over a 15 year period has proved futile.

The province and their delegations are travelling the world looking for money and investments whilst the opportunities that are willing offered and presented are ignored.
