Young and old flocked to the Edgemead Community Centre in Edgemead on Saturday 4 February for the annual Summer Collectors Toy Fair of the Cape Model and Toy Club.

Collectable toys like trains, boats, slot cars, plastic kits, dolls etc. were on display on approximately 90 tables and members from all over South Africa visited the fair.

“The club hosts four Toy Fairs per year at the Edgemead Community Centre and at the Theo Marais Sports Complex in Milnerton. The club has recently introduced a Model Train Fair which we plan to hold annually. A visit to our Toy Fairs are your chance to buy that elusive model that you’ve been looking for,” says Alan Nairn, chairman of the club.
