As part of their crime must fall campaign, Phillipi police arrested two men in unrealated cases in Hanover Park on Tuesday.

The Vispol and Stabalization units arrested a 35-year-old man in Johndown Walk at 11:00 and a 33-year-old man in Athon Walk at 12:00 both in possession of drugs.

The 35-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of mandrax and the 33-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of tik.

Police also confiscated cash from the suspects.

The drugs have an estimated street value of R500.

Both men have since appeared in court on charges of drug possession.
