V Westridge: Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following an accident in Wespoort Drive on Sunday 15 April at 09:11. Officers responded to the complaint of an accident and saw a white Kia in the road. Police also saw a man aged around 45, dressed in navy blue overalls. The man had been knocked over and was declared dead on the scene. The driver was heading east and swerved into the yellow lane before Dagbreek Lane, hitting the pedestrian. Anyone that can identify the deceased is asked to call the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Vuyan Claassen, on 082 587 4369.

V Eastridge: On Saturday 14 April at 15:30 officers executed a search warrant at a house in Burger Street and found 31 bullets in different calibres. Police arrested a 27-year-old man.
