V Plumstead: Diep River police are looking for two male suspects in connection with a case of house robbery. The suspects allegedly robbed their victim at his home in Prince George Drive on Monday 23 April at about 22:30. According to police, the suspects posed as local security guards to gain access to the premises. They attacked the victim with a metal object and reportedly dragged him to a room where they took personal belongings, power tools and other items on the premises. The suspects then locked the complainant in this room and fled. Anyone with information on the above case can phone Detective Sergeant Ivan Sonnenberg on 021 710 7356.

V Constantia: Police are investigating the cause of a fire that occurred at the Constantia Shopping Centre in Main Road on Friday 27 April. According to reports, investigation on the scene led to an unknown man who was allegedly seen setting a trolley alight and then running away when a staff member of the businesses at the centre saw him. Local fire services were called to the scene and the fire was extinguished before any major damage was caused. No-one was injured in the incident. Anyone with information on the matter is urged to call police on 021 710 7360.

V Tokai: An inmate was stabbed to death in what is reported to be a gang war taking place in Pollsmoor prison in Tokai. The incident occurred last Thursday at about 21:00. Another inmate involved in the incident is reportedly fighting for his life after suffering critical injuries during incident. A case of murder and grievous bodily harm is being investigated by the Department of Correctional Services along with the Kirstenhof police. According to reports, security system has been tightened. It is reported that this is a second incident in two weeks, following that which happened in Goodwood correctional facility where two correctional officials were attacked by an
