V Constantia: Diep River police are looking for suspects involved in a case of house robbery that took place at Ladies’ Mile Extension on Tuesday 16 October. The incident took place at around 09:30. The owner of the house and his gardener were held at gunpoint while other suspects were busy packing up household items. They later fled in an unknown vehicle. No shots were fired and no injuries reported. Anyone with information is urged to call the investigating detective, Sergeant Wellington Mwerbi, on 021 710 7345.

V Plumstead: Diep River police are investigating a case of armed robbery where a man was robbed of his vehicle in his driveway in Birminham Road on Wednesday 17 October. The incident took place at around 08:15. The three suspects, one armed with a firearm, held up the victim and demanded the keys to his white sedan vehicle and sped off. The vehicle was then found abandoned in Retreat. Anyone with information is urged to call 021 710 7352.

V Plumstead: Diep River police are looking for three suspects involved in a house robbery incident that occurred at the corner of South and Churchill roads in Plumstead on Wednesday 17 October at about 04:30. According to police these suspects were armed with a crowbar and a long screwdriver which is believed to have been used to force open the back door of the house. They then ransacked the house and fled with a 32-inch television, a cellphone, bank cards and an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to contact the investigating detective on 021 710 7352.

V Plumstead: Diep River police arrested two suspects for house robbery that occurred at Evermonde Road on Friday 19 October. Victims were reportedly woken up by aggressive suspects armed with knives. Suspects fled with televisions, household goods, cell phones, jewellery, two handguns and an undisclosed amount of cash. Some of the items were recovered during the arrests. The station’s management thanks everyone who helped with this arrest. Investigation in the case continues.
