Bishops Drama will be staging One flew over the cuckoo’s nest, based on Ken Kesey’s 1962 classic novel, in the Bishops Memorial Theatre every night at 19:00 until Friday.

The play follows Randle Patrick McMurphy (played by Logan Tait) a boisterous, brawling, fun-loving rebel, who fakes insanity at a prison work farm in order to be transferred to what he thinks will be easier time on the psych ward. He witnesses the abuse and degradation committed by the oppressive Nurse Ratched (Josi Beare).

Tickets are R100 at the door. Proceeds from the final night’s performance will be donated to the Red Cross oncology fund.
