Following the success of his first mass bootcamp, personal trainer Cecil Haynie will present two other initiatives in a bid to get Mitchell’s Plain active.

With the first event held on Saturday 30 June at Mnandi Beach, Haynie will host two more Xtreme Bootcamps this month.

Better known as the GutCutter, Haynie has been on a mission to get residents moving, getting his name from his success in cutting down people’s guts.

The next two sessions will be held at Mnandi Beach on Saturday 14 and 28 July from 08:30 to 10:30.

“The initiative is aimed at people with all fitness levels, especially those who are overweight and new to fitness,” says Haynie.

“One thing that we have learned from this adventure of an event, is that anyone can enter and complete it, irrespective of their fitness level, but more importantly, join us to celebrate the beauty of Mnandi Beach Resort that’s literally on our doorstep.”

The workouts are fun and interactive, making use of palisade fencing, dunes, rocks and the beach sand as part of the workout.

You can look forward to fun, sun (hopefully) and sand while getting in a great workout all for less than R40 per person.
