Donate bags for victims

The Muizenberg Police Museum is currently collecting for its 16 Days of Activism project.

They are looking for items to donate and fill a handbag to support a victim.

Handbags with cosmetics will be handed to the Jess Foord Foundation in support of rape survivors.

Each handbag can have the following items: A facecloth, underwear (small, medium and large), sanitary pads, soap, body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, a small pack of tissues, small soft toy and a note of comfort.

Children’s packets require: An A4-sized drawstring bag or a small backpack, underwear (boys and girls), a pack of tissues or wet wipes, soap and a facecloth, sanitary pads, notebook, pens, colouring pencils or crayons and a teddy bear or small soft toy.

Used items cannot be donated.
