Double murder raises alarm in Lentegeur

Lentegeur Police are investigating a double murder.

The incident occurred on Sunday 11 September at 19:45 in Madeliefie Street.

Police attended to the incident and found a man who had been shot.

The victim died at the scene.

It is alleged that a second victim had also been shot but had been taken to the hospital by family. The victim died at the hospital.

Three suspects were arrested in connection with this double murder on Monday 12 September.

The suspects – aged 41, 24 and 23 – have already appeared in court on two counts of murder.V Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Detective Sergeant Marlin Van Neel at 021 370 1782 or 082 777 8076.
