The 34-year-old man is due to appear at Cape Town magistrate’s court for charges of possession and dealing in drugs on Monday 19 August. He was arrested during an overnight joint patrol by the Salt River Neighbourhood Watch, Upper Woodstock Neighbourhood and Woodstock police officers on Friday 16 August. He was found with three packets of cocaine in money bags hidden under the driver's seat dash board and inside the passenger seat of his car cornered the car in Selbourne Road in Walmer Estate at around 03:15. According to Woodstock police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Hilton Malila, the car had no registration number. The acting station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Alroy van der Berg commended the law enforcement urgencies for the good work.
