2017-06-13 06:00

Over R200 000 worth of drugs have been found in a Sea Point flat.

Members of the Cape Town policing cluster task team raided the flat on Thursday with a search warrant. The bust, which took place at around 16:00, led to the arrest of a man and woman, both aged 35, says task team spokesperson Constable Lorencial Johnson

“Various drugs were found in the flat after a full search was done. Cocaine, dagga, MDMA as well as magic mushroom drops were found in the flat. Various prescription pills were also confiscated,” he says.

Both people are to be charged with dealing in drugs.
