Ward 76 councillor Goawa Timm was accompanied by member of parliament Ricardo MacKenzie in handing over learning and play packs to ECDs in the area on Friday last week.

“In total we supported 13 ECD centres in Mitchell’s Plain from my ward allocation budget and I saw the need for this in our areas. This will go a long way to help our young learners become more educated. We can create one South Africa for all if we get these basics right,” says Timm.

Mackenzie says: “It also stimulates learning and helps with future development. It’s important that our future generation gets gross and fine motoring skills before they get to [school]. When we get our kids at this level educated it’s easier to become one SA for all.”
