The lucky recipients of a R10 000 bursary towards their school fees have been selected, and representatives of Vangate Mall surprised the lucky winners at school on Tuesday­.

Ridaa Botha, a Grade 11 learner at Spine Road High School, was selected as the recipient of the high school bursary sponsored by Vangate Mall. Botha says he was not sure he would win, but entered anyway. He was overcome with emotion when he was surprised during class.

The winner of the primary school bursary is Farah Paulse, a Grade 2 learner at Golden Grove Primary School in Rondebosch
