Many people attended the Love thy neighbour festival in Wynberg.

The day was abuzz with activities like music, drama and various performances. There was arts, literature and food. A proposed petition was also signed and finalised there.

Those who attended had an opportunity to talk about their challenges in Wynberg and how they could work together to make the suburb better from everyone.

Following the meeting, there are plans to create “intelligence rooms” in different homes to compile the feedback of group discussions and the petition, receive input from other residents and prepare a strategy to submit a memo with the petition to the Mayco members responsible for Wynberg problems such as drugs being sold on the streets and gambling.
