I Am Passion, a non profit organisation in Retreat, is doing all they can to ensure that young adults become commerce creators no matter how harsh their economic situation is.

Starting off about two years ago with only eight volunteers, the organisation, which was registered last year, now has about 25 full-time volunteers.

The organisation for young people by young people was awarded a bronze medal last year by the Department of Social Development in the Ministerial Youth Excellence Awards for “encouraging self-expression through sports, arts and culture.”

The organisation is not leaving any stone unturned and they prepared to equip everyone to be wealth generators. The organisation will be hosting the Joseph Code Exchange, (JCE), which will take place in the form of a two-day convention on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 November. The venue is Sowers of the Word at 6 Smuts Road, Lansdowne.

Nicole Golding, I Am Passion spokesperson, says in a statement: “According to a recent report looking at social mobility in the rich world, released by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, it would take an average of 4.5 generations for those born into poor families to approach the average income of their society.

“In South Africa, however, it takes nine. That is an average of 360 years! We do not have time to waste. The economy will keep people bound to a system of poverty and inequality lest a generation of radical thinkers and commerce creators arise,” she says.

“The Joseph Code Exchange was birthed out of a burning passion to see youth and young adults of Africa emancipated. Isn’t it incredible how the South African flag resembles Joseph’s technicolour dream coat? The promise of a rainbow nation compared with the quintessential demonstration of a journey from the pit to the palace. Some will refer to it as a mere coincidence; however, we believe that it is a prophetic stance to what South Africa’s now generation will become,” she goes on to say.

The event will host various speakers who are CEOs in their own right.

“One of the speakers at this event is Marlon Parker. Parker is the founder of Rlabs and is a South African social entrepreneur who uses information communications technology to empower

Listed as one of the 100 World Class South Africans, Parker’s heart is to see the people of this nation revived, not only spiritually but also financially.

“This convention will unlock your next level in business, innovation and beyond. It will unlock vision 2019 for you and give you a divine blueprint of how to get there! We are inviting everyone who wants to see a different 2019 financially to attend this event,” says Golding.

The ticket price is only R200V If you would like more information on this event please call Nicole Golding on 076 506 4223, or email iampassiongo@ Alternatively, you can register for this convention online at josephcode04
