Free counselling and skills helpfrom network

A local organisation is offering free counselling to residents who need it.

People who experience trauma and grief as a result of domestic violence, gangsterism and natural disasters can visit the Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse based at the Beaconvale Frail Care Centre.

The organisation provides free trauma counselling by an experienced social worker and therapist at its offices every day from 09:00 to 13:00.

The organisation also offers skills development workshops every Monday from 10:00 to noon.

A second support group and workshops are also held in Tafelsig at the Thusong Centre from 10:00 to noon.V For more information call the Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse offices on 021 376 4788 during office hours or email
