Free health tests on Friday

A local NGO will host its annual wellness day at the Frogg Centre in Juno Street, Woodlands on Friday.

The event of Opportunity to Serve Ministries (OTSM) will start at 10:00 and entry is free.

Some of the partners include Cansa, High Hopes (Auditory) Arthritis SA, Pink Drive, TB/HIV Care, promoting the Man Up programme with free circumcisions for men between the ages of 15 and 60, Metro Police, police, the City of Cape Town, Standard Bank, Metropolitan, African Bank, Old Mutual and Lions Club.

The services offered at the event will include Pap smears, prostrate testing, clinical breast examinations and HIV, glucose and blood pressure testing.
