Girls mentored by Network members

2017-08-29 06:00

The Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse hosted an event honouring a group of girls handpicked by members of the network.

The girls, aged between 18 and 24, are all unemployed or school dropouts. The event, held on Wednesday 16 August at the Beaconvale Frailcare Centre, was aimed at making them feel special. They were also showered with gifts from network members.

Each network member had to mentor a member of the group of girls for a year and steer them in a positive direction.
