Diep River Community Policing Forum, in partnership with Diep River police, are looking for individuals and businesses to support their Mandela’s 100th birthday celebration to be held at Childhood Cancer Foundation (Choc) House in Plumstead. They will be refurbishing Choc House and they need donations of varnish indoor and outdoor paint, polyfiller, painter mate, plastic kids table and chairs, window putty, damp seal, cornice, acrylic sealer, hinge for back gate, metal carport sheets, blankets, curtains, eight lamp and shade, LED down lighters, fitting and bulbs, back door bolt. Non-perishable food and cleaning detergents are also welcome.

Choc House relies solely on donations to maintain the home. It is a home to children that are undergoing treatment at the nearby hospitals.
