Help fill Xmas buckets

2018-10-30 06:01

The Groote Schuur Community Improvement District (GSCID) is appealing to the public to support its Christmas bucket drive.

This initiative is aimed at cheering up the less fortunate people living within the precinct. It forms part of the GSCID’s social outreach programme focusing on improving the lives of the homeless. GSCID general manager, Nina Farrell, says they prefer non-perishable goods such as peanut butter and other items. Donations will be distributed to those in need participating in the Straatwerk programme, at the annual homeless Christmas party.
