Police are requesting information on the whereabouts of a 16-year-old Lentegeur girl who has been missing for two weeks.

Chenel Hendrikse was last seen on Tuesday 18 July at 17:00 at the Lentegeur ­Library.

She is 1.6m tall, has long black hair, brown eyes, a flat nose and small ears.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jersey, takkies and a pink T-shirt.

Dessie Rechner of the Pink Ladies says they are working with police on the case. She urges anyone with information to come forward.

At the time of going to print it was confirmed Hendrickse was still missing .
