Athlone police are investigating three cases of attempted murder after a shooting incident in Tarentaal Street, Bridgetown, on Monday 24 June.

According to Athlone police spokesperson, Sergeant Zita Norman, the victims are between the ages of 24 and 29. They were rushed to Groote Schuur Hospital for medical treatment.

It is alleged that gang members were sitting in front of a house when an unknown grey car pulled up and started firing several shots at the victims, says Norman.

Anyone with information that could lead to arrests is urged to call 021 697 9238 or 021 697 9239.
