South African rally drivers Mark Cronje and Ashley Haigh-Smith will be on the starting grid with the world’s best rally and rallycross drivers at Killarney on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November. The entry list for the 12th and final round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Cape Town includes legends like Sébastien Loeb, Petter Solberg, current leader Johan Kristoffersson, Mattias Ekström and Andres Bakkerud.Cronje and Haigh-Smith will thrill an expected 30 000 visitors over the weekend in lightning-fast supercars accelerating from 0 to 100km/H in just 1.9 seconds – faster than Formula 1 cars. Cronje will drive an Albatec Racing Peugeot 208 WRX and Haigh-Smith will compete in an Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta.
