CELEBRATING WOMEN: Women came together to celebrate their courage at the Fearlessly Female Women’s Day event held at Zevenwacht Wine Estate on Friday 9 August. The event, presented by TygerBurger, People’s Post sister publication, and Spec-Savers, featured celebrity chef Jenny Morris, MC Mel Jones and a fashion installation by Ruff Tung. A portion of the funds raised at the event was in aid of the Women4Women organisation, founded by former Miss SA Cindy Nel. Pictured are Melany Duthie-Surtie from Bellville and Leigh Jansen from Southfield. The event marked the first time that Jansen socialised since being injured in a train fire. PHOTO: Samantha Lee
