Study while you work with part-time studies or distance learning

The journey of lifelong learning and further study can be a rewarding experience. Not only does it expose you to the latest trends and knowledge in your field of interest and offers you the opportunity to gain the skills necessary in the competitive world of work, but it also contributes to your sense of self-worth.

A relevant qualification, supported by career experience, gives you a competitive edge and will surely aid your promotional opportunities. Choosing part-time studies or distance learning as your mode of study allows you the flexibility to earn an income while you learn.

As a registered student you can enjoy all the benefits provided to our full-time students, including use of the open learning centres for internet connectivity and resources.

Part-time programmes are offered at the Westlake, Fish Hoek, Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha campuses of False Bay College. Programmes include: Business Studies, Information Technology, Education Studies and Engineering Studies: Motors and Electrical (N1-N2).

If you cannot attend classes, distance learning is offered in Business Management and Engineering Studies. We provide online and lecturer support through tutorial classes to guide you through the subject matter.
