Keeping kids safe is your responsibility

2018-06-12 06:00

Every second of every day, month and year the parents are the protectors of their children’s safety and security ... or are supposed to be. You cannot expect the government to protect your child/children, as many parents believe. No, Mommy and Daddy or guardians of children – you are responsible for the safety of your children. You parents must, in all aspects of your children’s lives, ensure their safety no matter what the situation or the place your children are in. Your advice and measures you put in place to ensure their safety are your responsibility. The only responsibility the government has is to try and create a safe environment outside the boundaries of your home, arms and eyes. The government can ensure that their officials in different departments are qualified and passionate in helping you when your children are in danger or are the victims of crime or are in need of care. The government must change the punitive measures for child offenders to be almost barbaric.
