The Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa Specialised Ministry hosted a school holiday programme in the Strandfontein community hall from Monday 3 to Friday 7 July with the theme “Children Making a Difference”.

The topic of the programme was “Our Community”.

The participating children were entertained with crafts, educational health talks by a nurse and chess lessons thanks to Through His Eyes community centre.

Other activities included colouring-in, fabric painting, making board games and doing exercises.

On Friday the children were also treated to a visit by the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services in Westridge and were taught about fire safety.

The organisers say the are grateful to everyone involved in making the programme a success.
